Columbus has so many amazing locations for photo sessions! I have shot in so many places and have so many favorite locations. I know that sometimes it’s hard to envision your family or senior in a specific location, so I have created this blogpost so you can see a variety of images in a variety of locations to help you determine which is the best location for you. Keep in mind that the time of year determines what the leaves are doing, so some of these images are showing the lush green of spring and summer, the beautiful fall foliage, and the bare branches of late fall.
Thompson Park in Upper Arlington:
This is where I do so many sessions. It’s close for a lot of my families, and it’s really big! There are lots of options, depending on what the light is doing.
Sunny 95 Park (by Greensview Elementary) in Upper Arlington:
North Bank Park in downtown Columbus:
This is a favorite, for sure! If you live in Columbus, it’s a great way to get the cityscape. Keep in mind, the sun affects timing of this shoot. We can only do this location if it’s cloudy (hard to predict) or once the sun is setting so that the sun isn’t blinding you.
Jeffrey Mansion Park in Bexley:
Downtown Worthington:
Coffman Park in Dublin:
German Village and Schiller Park in Columbus:
Highbanks Metro Park in Delaware:
Griggs Reservoir and Indian Village in Upper Arlington:
The Ohio State University’s Campus:
Homestead Park in Hilliard:
The Short North: This is also really close to Goodale Park.
Inniswood Metro Park in Westerville:
